National Curriculum Specialist for Literacy (McGraw Hill)

We have an opening for a National Curriculum Specialist for Literacy on our Achievement Solutions Team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert regarding McGraw Hill’s Direct Instruction products, by providing thorough product training and presentations to prospective customers to drive increased sales revenue. You will partner with our K-12 field Sales Representatives across the country in promoting our Literacy products with new and existing customers. This position will also serve as the liaison between our Marketing and Academic Design Teams to support training, sales presentations, and marketing message creation.

This is a remote position (must be located within the continental United States) and will eventually require travel up to 90% throughout the country.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Fostering relationships and leveraging knowledge to increase sales.
  • Making highly effective presentations of our products to large audiences including School Administrators, Educators, Technology Directors and Department Chairs.
  • Conducting professional development and in-service training of all products for new and current users.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of all products.
  • Building strong relationships with sales team members.
What You Will Need To Be Successful…
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of teaching experience in Literacy (Special Education, Title 1, or Intervention preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must live near a major metropolitan airport.
  • Experience using any of the following McGraw Hill products is preferred: Reading Mastery, Corrective Reading or Direct Instructions programs.
  • Experience at the district level preferred (Reading Coach, Director, Lead, or Trainer).
