About the Role
The Project Coordinator ensures that BookNook’s workflows run seamlessly between all stakeholders, including internal and external teams in the execution of contract requirements for a range of implementation projects. The Coordinator will also work closely with key internal personnel to provide support services such as data processing, research, project and program management tasks and more.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Help the Senior Project Director develop and maintain detailed schedules, trackers, logs, process documentation, and other artifacts related to the contract executions processes.
  • Involved in short-term planning with internal and external teams to assure alignment of contract obligations and that all stakeholders are set up to achieve project goals.
  • Traffic deliverables between teams (external and internal), tracking statuses and maintaining up-to-date collaboration tools.
  • Proactively identify risk and escalate as needed.
  • Proactively resolve questions and items directly, or refer queries to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
  • Communicate clear, unambiguous instruction to teams that allow them to appropriately prioritize their work.
  • Audit quality of deliverables to measure and track performance, work directly with external and internal teams to mitigate and resolve any related concerns.
  • Provide support to budgeting, forecasting and payment processes for project teams in collaboration with the Senior Project Director.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with external teams, including stakeholder teams, vendor teams and international companies.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business, or related field or equivalent experience over a minimum of 5 years.
Experience
  • Ideal candidates will have five years of management experience with emphasis on measured quality, relationship management, growth mindsets, and comfort working with virtual teams.
  • Experience working on educational products that have large development teams utilizing various creative and engineering talent types is a must.
  • Experience in educational publishing and or multimedia product development is preferred, with emphasis on new technology and current trends and limitations.
  • A Project Coordinator working for BookNook must also:
  • Be an analytical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Have a keen understanding of issue resolution, intra-team dependencies and risk escalation.
